Welcome to the excellent adventures of Rita and Patricia as we wander aimlessly across the country for 2 1/2 months, visiting people who don’t seem to remember us, and the ones who do remember, are suddenly not home!
Our travels will take us eastward over the Sierras, Rockies, and the highways and byways to the Midwest, the Carolina’s and Florida...Ivan has changed our plans, we won't be going to Florida. Our return trip will take us the southern route, as yet to be determined.
We
intend to stop where we can find water for fishing,
and for tubbing & tubing
and beer for
drinking. Other necessary amenities are WiFi access (or at least a good
cell signal), dog-friendly parks
(Cello, our Rottweiler is with us), and quiet quiet quiet for the many books that we want to
read.
We are equipped with new cell phones that will provide us with internet access on our laptops wherever a good signal is available.
We will add to this site whenever we have a chance, especially if there is an adventure to share. Please check the site often. We will update every chance we get! Happy trails!
